Write All The Words began in 2019 when Ariele was looking for online friends to write with. While there were plenty of groups on Facebook to participate in, she was specifically looking for a space that wasn't on social media, as she found constantly updating feeds and notifications very distracting. So, after some digging and research, she decided to start her own Discord server. A few friends joined initially, but over time the group grew to over 100 members and continues to grow.
What started as a handful of writing buddies has evolved into a thriving international community of writers supporting each other through the creative process. Along the way, authors Melisa Peterson Lewis and Beth Martin joined the admin team, and the community blossomed into the delightful chaos it is today.
We also host our beloved month-long writing challenge: Badger Camp. Twice a year, we invite members to make lofty writing goals, and participants gently badger each other to keep writing until we reach the finish line.
All genres are welcome at Write All the Words. Currently, we boast members who write fantasy epics, steamy romances, contemporary literature, sci-fi shenanigans, heartfelt poetry, memoirs, non-fiction, and much more. Our ranks include new writers, hobby writers, traditionally published authors, part-time novelists, and full-time indie authors. Everyone is welcome!

I have spent my life on the run, hiding from those hunting me down. I know I'm odd—electronics tend to break around me and I get migraines whenever someone brings up politics. But I've finally found some stability. That is, until a man shows up, accusing me of murdering androids.
It wasn't me. I swear. But I have to run again. Or else my mother will die.
